Dutch Meatloaf












  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. bread crumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper
  • 2 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. tomato paste, divided in half
  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • 2 T. mustard
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 T. vinegar

Combine ground beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the tomato paste.  Press mixture evenly into a loaf pan.  Combine remaining ingredients and pour over top.  Bake at 350* for 90 minutes.
